Margarita Köhl

Margarita Köhl is a transdisciplinary researcher and curator with a wide range of international experience in research and teaching (University of Vienna, Austria; National Kaohsiung University of Science and Technology, Taiwan; Silpakorn University, Thailand; Japan; Dokkyo Daigaku, Japan). Köhl holds a PhD in Communication Studies (University of Vienna) and an MA in Arts & Cultural Management, East Asian Studies and Art History. She works at the intersection of science and technology studies, East-Asian studies as well as arts & cultural management with a focus on affective and emotional aspects of technology appropriation and critical design. Currently, she is head of the Department of Design at the University of Applied Sciences Vorarlberg, Austria.
